After having bought the Picasso trinket box as a gift and was impressed with the service, quick dispatch, safely wrapped package and the quality of the product.
When I saw the Picasso serving dish in the sale I succumbed and bought it for myself. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The dish is 35cm diameter so really makes a splash of colour. The packaging is worth a mention, the dish itself was in a padded bag made of a soft black material and then it was wrapped in bubble wrap and all that was padded out in the box with recycled (I think) brown paper. Bubble wrap is not friendly to the environment and perhaps this is something Silkwood Traders could address. nonethelessless the packaging was extremely protective. I also bought the stand to display the dish, again a lacquered piece which complements the dish – far more attractive than a plastic one. I’m wondering if I can find room for another piece!
