Having ordered from Silkwood before I decided to take advantage of their sale and choose some presents for friends. For some reason my order wasn’t being accepted and I rang up and spoke to John who was charming and very helpful and got everything sorted with the minimum of fuss and somehow I’m sure I added more to the order! The package arrived very quickly with plenty of padding to protect the items. I was so pleased with the quality of the products and the beautiful boxes the tea light holders came in. I wish I could add pictures but once again technology and the laptop are conspiring against me but I am sure you will be thrilled with anything you order.

I returned again to take advantage of the great Sale prices being offered. This time I purchased the green crackled coasters (for me) and two red photo frames (to go with a set of red coasters and the red bowl previously purchased for gifts).
I am very pleased with the speed and quality of these items. The depth of colour is absolutely beautiful – very eye catching.

So pleased with my purchases. I ordered the Ecuador chunky hand crochet scarf , it’s beautiful and so well made. I also ordered the metallic red tealight holder which is the perfect colour. I already have two trinket boxes which again I am so pleased with , they came beautifully packaged too.

My tea light holder and set of coasters are absolutely beautiful. I chose the dragonfly design. They came in lovely presentation boxes that are an extra touch that I wasn’t expecting. Packaging was very good as was speed of delivery. My purchase was for a gift but I am sorely tempted to buy something for myself.

We first came across Silkwood Traders at the Bath Christmas market some years ago. Unusual gifts, fantastic quality and good price. Have purchased many items to give as gifts as well as having our own selection. Stuck for gift idea, look no further than Silkwood Traders.

I ordered the black pressed flower bowl and matching trinket jar. They arrived very quickly. The bowl comes in a padded drawstring bag to prevent any scratching.

The bowl is stunning, a great (practical) centrepiece, and the jar a nice add on.

Fantastic value for expensive looking pieces. I will certainly be buying these products again for gifts.

Ordered a vase for my sister which was lovely, fast delivery, very well packaged so no damage in transit, I also had a lovely note from seller saying that they used to have an aunt zillah, which I thought was sweet, just so you know seller my name actually came from an aunt zillah ??

I first came across these some years back at a Christmas market in Birmingham, when I purchased two vase. I later wished that I hade bought a third. My sister who is in Oxfordshire contacted them direct and was hand delivered the said vase just in time for a Christmas gift.

It so difficult to convey the brilliance of the finish on this lacquerware in website pictures. One must hold them to really appreciate the quality.
When I gaze into the deep deep gloss of the lacquer, I can appreciate the three-month process each item has taken to become that which I am holding. That is not a feeling I get when looking at some mass-produced piece plucked from a shelf full of identical items at a local branch of a homeware store.
I find every piece of lacquerware I buy from Silkwood Traders has its own character. Take vases, for example: Whether a plain black gloss complemented by flowers, twigs or branches, or the stunning beauty of the Picasso collection, each piece is receptive to a versatile embellishment whilst having enough character to stand for itself unadorned. Beautiful!

Speedy delivery, well packaged and fantastic product! Really cool talking piece. When the item originally arrived the silk box in which the item was supposed to be packaged in wasn’t included. I e-mailed the seller and they replied immediately. They apologised for this error and sent out the silk box, which arrived a few days later. Good customer service.

I first saw these wonderful products on Lincoln Market 2019, and soon brought the pressed flower bowl for a friends birthday. It was absolutely beautiful, and everyone I showed it to said the same. She brought me the 5 Tea light holder, again in pressed flower design which again is stunning. I have just brought the single Tea light and photo frame for Christmas and birthday presents for my friend and both are beautiful, in such wonderful protective boxes. Delivery was quick, packaging was fabulous and with the added bonus of a free wine bottle holder just topped my purchase. I would definately recommend these beautiful products for yourself or for presents. You will not be disappointed.

Silkwood Traders always offer superb customer service and their products are exquisite quality & presentation.
Everything I have bought is beautiful and of the highest standard. Plus the items are supplied in wonderful silk gift boxes or soft velvet pouches.
Any minor issues with my deliveries have been addressed courteously and efficiently without any delays.
I just can’t recommend this business enough and I just wish they could supply a wider range of products and have more stocks to sell.
I managed to buy most of my items in the half price January sale which offered even greater value for money.

Our order was lost by the courier. It was for a special occasion. A replacement was sent immediately with a view to getting it to us on time. We cannot speak highly enough of the service provided.

After having bought the Picasso trinket box as a gift and was impressed with the service, quick dispatch, safely wrapped package and the quality of the product.
When I saw the Picasso serving dish in the sale I succumbed and bought it for myself. I couldn’t have been more pleased. The dish is 35cm diameter so really makes a splash of colour. The packaging is worth a mention, the dish itself was in a padded bag made of a soft black material and then it was wrapped in bubble wrap and all that was padded out in the box with recycled (I think) brown paper. Bubble wrap is not friendly to the environment and perhaps this is something Silkwood Traders could address. nonethelessless the packaging was extremely protective. I also bought the stand to display the dish, again a lacquered piece which complements the dish – far more attractive than a plastic one. I’m wondering if I can find room for another piece!
